Welcome to my community page. This is a work in progress as it will take shape and form as it is written. My family is global in its making, and global in its outlook. We see beyond our front door and realize there is a whole wide world out there, a world to explore, discover and support.
I have recently stepped down as the president of an international Aid foundation that focused on orphaned and abandoned children around the world. Most of its recent work was situated in China, and Ethiopia, as well as helping specific children with life threatening medical needs. It has broaden my world view, strengthened my belief in the human spirit, and awed me in the presence of so many truly spiritually gifted individuals who toil in the endless obstacles to reach the most vulnerable children in our world.
Please check in with me on this page as I share, hightlight, and focus on the truly great work being down around the world. This part of the site will be very organic in its make up, as it will take shape and direction as the idea’s come to me.
I think this page is a good place to start with my own little community. A place to talk, share and link with each other through commom family, children and yes even shoe stories. If your buying childrens shoes, chances are you know at least one child in your life.
